Aquifer Tours - Blue Lake Pumping Station

The Blue Lake itself is visible from several lookout is positioned around the perimeter of the Lake.

This award winning tour includes a fully guided walking visit through the historic dolomite Pumping Station.

It continues down the original well shaft in a glass paneled lift to a viewing platform near the surface of the Blue Lake.

Visitors hear stories relating to the geology and heritage of the lakes in the area, as well as a description of the pumping plant operation. The changing color of the Blue Lake is also explained.
