Butler Memorial was officially re-opened on Sunday August 1989. The hangar style building houses the famous World War One Bristol Fighter Aeroplane the Red Devil, believed to be the only one left anywhere in the world, flown in France and Australia by local boy Captain Harry Butler.

This static display provides information on the exploits of Captain Butler and a detailed history of the refurbished monoplane.

Crash site just south of Minlaton, plaque on Cairn at side of Yorketown Road. An information booklet is available for AUD2.20 from the District Council of Yorke Peninsula, Minlaton Branch, 18 Main Street, Minlaton. Additional Butler information on view at the Minlaton National Trust Museum, Main Street, Minalton.
