This Rowella vineyard takes advantage of the ideal climatic conditions afforded by the proximity of the Tamar River. The four and a half hectare vineyard was established in 1998.
Roderick Cuthbert produces award winning Chardonnay, a Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc blend, Semillon, Riesling, Traminer and Pinot Grigio wines. Dr Andrew Pirie is the winemaker.
Iron Pot Bay Wines also offers cellar door visitors Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and a late picked Semillon. The cellar door provides tastings and sales of Northern Tasmanian cheeses. Expect to find classic Heidi, Pyengana, Ashgrove and Westhaven.
