The Anchor Bay Motel is a quiet, relaxed motel with spectacular water views. It provides quality and affordable accommodation in the pretty fishing village of Greenwell Point, 10 minutes east of Nowra on the NSW South Coast.

The Anchor Bay Motel has 12 motel-style units and overlooks the junction of the Crookhaven and Shoalhaven Rivers. It's quiet, it's relaxed, and it's beautiful. All rooms have ensuites, televisions, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, tea/coffee-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. There is a barbecue onsite.

We now have an onsite internet cafe and for those guests with their own laptops, we offer FREE wireless internet access.

For that romantic getaway, book in to the Anchor Bay Cottage next door. This original two-bedroom cottage has been renovated and boasts a large verandah with spectacular views. It is fully self-contained and all linen is provided.

Local Area
Just two hours south of Sydney, Greenwell Point is a quiet, relaxed fishing village, 10 minutes east if the large, regional centre of Nowra. The area is famous for its Sydney rock oysters and is within an easy drive of many of the local attractions: Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Coolangatta Wine Estate, Shoalhaven Heads, Huskisson and Vincentia. The spectacular Jervis Bay National Park, including Callala Beach and Point Perpendicular, is just 15 minutes away. The Anchor Bay Motel is the closest motel to the northern side of Jervis Bay.

*FREE wireless internet access is available to guests, plus we have an onsite internet cafe (charges apply). * Newly renovated waterfront deluxe rooms with spectacular water views, reverse cycle air conditioners and flat-screen digital televsions. * Our deluxe rooms 5 and 6 now have reverse-cycle air conditioners. * There is a well-equipped disabled room with ramp access, a queen-size and single bed, and an ensuite with support rails and a shower chair. This room also has water views. * Smoking is permitted on verandahs and balconies.
Getting There
Just two hours south of Sydney and 10 minutes east of Nowra. Coming from Sydney into Nowra on the Princes Highway, go across the Shoalhaven River Bridge and turn left at the fifth set of traffic lights after the bridge into Kalandar Road. Head directly east. Kalandar Road becomes Greenwell Point Road. Continue driving for 10 minutes and you will arrive in Greenwell Point. Drive through the township to the water. The motel is on your left at 113 Greenwell Point Road.

We had just a night at this motel this year but have stayed there before and find it is the best value for money and friendliest motel around. I was amazed at that bad review.
