At Rainforestation Nature Park, visitors can experience Australian nature and Aboriginal culture in one convenient setting. The 100 hectare (40 acre) tourist attraction is on the coastal range behind Cairns, amidst World Heritage tropical rainforest, and 30 minutes by coach from Cairns and 5 minutes from Kuranda Village.

Rainforestation has 3 main attractions: 1) Rainforest Tour aboard an amphibious Army Duck whilst an experienced rainforest guide/driver explains the vast array of local plant life and wildlife, with a Tropical Fruit Orchard. 2) Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, an Aboriginal culture tour with boomerang and spear-throwing, and a dance performance depicting aboriginal culture and traditions. 3) Koala & Wildlife Park, with a vast array of unique Australian animals, including crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, the wombat, the cassowary, lizards and snakes.

Rainforestation has 2 restaurants and a Juice Bar, and Souvenir Shops.
