Jehangir, named after the fourth great Mogul, ruling from 1605-1627, serves traditional Tandoori food prepared in the traditional Tandoori way. The original Tandoor was a pit in the ground, which created an intense heat. Meat was speared and placed in the pit where it cooked and retained a special flavour. Since the early days of Tandoori-style cooking, methods have been refined slightly, but the emphasis remains the same. The Tandoor method of cooking is a healthy and tasty way to cook food.
Jehangir serves a selection of Tandoori dishes, and caters for vegetarians. If the Khidmat & Naush entrees don't fill you up, the roti breads, rice, Lassat E Handi curries and the desserts surely will.
Jehangir also caters for special occasions such as weddings, office parties, cocktail parties and more.
