The evening promptly starts at 7 p.m. where a fascinating discussion of the display and inhabitants is given, before the visitors are treated to a sumptuous 4-course seafood dinner. Seafood dinner is a Thai style Barramundi in banana leaves, fresh Oysters, King Prawns, local Calamari, chef's salads and local exotic fruit in season. This is served in our garden terrace overlooking the Darwin Harbour, weather permitting. Special dietary needs can be catered for i.e. Seafood allergies, with notification at time of booking. The guests are then returned to the displays, that are now in darkness, where the rare and beautiful phenomena of fluorescing corals and animals can be seen. The night concludes with a torch light tour of the nocturnal reef world, which is just like a night dive experience. This tour normally runs on Tue, Wed, Fri and Sun nights. Can be changed if a group of 12 or more wish to book. Great way to finish your evening before flying out on the midnight flight.

We made a reservation on a Tuesday night for the next evening. The person who took the booking, couldnt stop raving about the value of the dinner/evening. The next night we took a taxi from our hotel to the venue to find a note on the door saying the evening was cancelled ... Read More
