Fun Tassie Tours offers extended tours with small groups to Tasmanias most popular destinations, departing from Launceston and Hobart.

We specialise in small group tours (max of 7-11 persons) and mainly cater for families, couples, friends and individual travelers.

Extended tours are packaged for 3, 4, 6 and 7 day tours with selected itineraries that include some surprise locations.

Accommodation we use is also reputable 3 1/2 star hotels/motels, and self-contained cabins in remote areas.

Further Information: Tours are conducted using 12 seater late model minibus and 8 seater 4WD passenger vans with reclining seats, seat belts and dual air-conditioning. Private charters customised to your needs can also be arranged. Fun Tassie Tours is accredited by the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania, so it is committed to quality assurance and customer service. Business is fully licenced and has insurance and permits required by law.

A group of six of us contracted with Fun Tassie Tours for a private van tour. The tour was supposed to go from Burnie to Cradle Mountain via Sheffield. However, the trip was so unpleasant that when we got to Sheffield we all asked the driver to take us back to Burnie even though we were looking forward to going to Cradle Mountain ...
