Tours: The South West scenic flight tracks over the Derwent Estuary, along the D'Entrecastreaux Channel which separates Bruny Island & the Tasmanian mainland. Pass over the mouth of the Huon River, past Southport Lagoon & onto Cockle Creek. From here see the South East Cape, the southern-most point of Australia in contrast to the beach of Prion Bay, the New River Lagoon & Ironbound Range. Head inland to Melalueca airstrip for light refreshments. The flight then takes in the beauty of Bathurst Harbour, Federation Peak & the Western Arthur Ranges, some of Australias most stunning scenery. Head north along the Eastern Arthur Range, towards Lake Pedder & the stark contrast of Mount Anne's rocky peak. Back via Hobart city, Mount Wellington from a completely different perspective.
Tours: Maria Island / Tasman Peninsula Experience. The flight heads to Maria Island, then tracks south over Eagle Hawk Neck, around the sheer cliffs of Tasman Island with its remote lighthouse, over historic Port Arthur and finally, Hobart City on its way back. This flight may be upgraded to include a landing on this beautiful island. To celebrate a special occasion or just to treat yourselves, why not upgrade to the Deluxe Maria Island / Tasman Peninsula Experience. We will land on Maria Island & serve you a quality Tasmanian food platter including smoked salmon, a selection of King Island cheeses & quality Meadowbank wines. These precious two hours on Maria Island are sure to provide lasting memories.
Tours: Tasair have teamed up with Bruny Island Cruises to bring you an unforgettable experience. Fly south over South Arm, Opossum Bay & along the wonderful east coast of Bruny. After rounding the southern most part of the island the flight heads up the Channel to land. You will be collected for Bruny Island Cruises multi-award winning, three-hour eco-adventure cruise, which takes you through some of Tasmania's most unspoilt coastline. After the cruise enjoy the complimentary lunch & surroundings before returning to your aircraft. The return flight tracks along the D'Entrecastreaux Channel where brilliant blue waters separate the white, sandy beaches of Bruny & the Tasmanian mainland. The flight passes Hobart City on your way back to Hobart Airport.
