'The Alice' is a wonderfully historic town, home to The Overlanders Steakhouse, Australia's most famous natural landmark and setting to a host of world-famous films.
The house features in 'A Town Like Alice' and proudly displays the movie poster autographed by Virginia McKenna. It's also the home of Aboriginal culture and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
The Overlanders Steakhouse serves generous portions of real Aussie tucker; emu, crocodile, camel, barramundi, beef and kangaroo! And you get to keep a souvenir menu to prove it! If you're not 'blown out' by this, then the Apple Pie or the famous Australian Pavlova should do it.
The Overlanders Steakhouse caters for bookings from 1 to 170 people and with special children's and Christmas menus, a well stocked international wine cellar and a convention centre, it really caters for the masses.
