With nearly 40 years expertise, and an extensive menu, the multi-award winning Weis Restaurant is sure to satisfy. This beautiful building was designed by Sydney architect Carlyle Greenwell and was completed in 1925. It still carries charming features such as inviting fireplaces to warm a winter's evening, but also caters for summer with an air conditioning system.

After a relaxing drink in the cocktail bar, enjoy the smorgasbord menu offering fresh seafood or steak as well as a generous array of main dishes, fresh salads, fresh home-made bread and divine desserts.

Weis Restaurant is also the perfect place to celebrate that special occasion, with a friendly atmosphere and stunning grounds. Impressively, it was also recognised for its outstanding environmental efforts, culminating in an Environmental Excellence Award.

Further Information: All year round, however, you'll find a warm and friendly welcome at Weis Restaurant, where the food is second to none anywhere in the world.
Further Information: LOCATED at the "Top of the Range" in Toowoomba, Weis Restaurant is a ninety minute drive from Brisbane City and a little over two hours from the Gold Coast, via the Logan Expressway. You can't miss the restaurant if you turn right at the top of the range into Tourist Road, and follow it along just a couple of hundred metres. The road veers left into Margaret St. and the entrance to the restaurant is the first driveway on the left hand side in Margaret Street. There are several motels only walking distance from the restaurant.

At $50 a head for the smorgasbord - and all the hype I have heard over the years - I thought it would be the perfect venue for a special occasion. The service was excruciatingly slow.
