Civic Hall Complex And Arteyrea Workshops

The Civic Hall Complex is the home of the visual and performing arts in Port Lincoln. There are two gallery spaces, The Walter Nicholls Memorial Gallery and The Rotary Gallery, which host a continuous program of exhibitions.

The Gallery shop displays and sells a diverse range of work produced by local artists. The Nautilus Theatre productions include the Touring Program of Country Arts South Australia. Other major productions touring from time to time throughout Australia and local productions are held occasionally.

Arteyrea Workshops are community run workshops that support local artists and encourage intra regional exchanges. The workshops feature large open access areas equipped with print making facilities, a pottery shed and photographic dark room plus weavers and quilters areas. Local artists and craftsperson's use these facilities regularly. Workshops are held in quilting, weaving, silk painting and silkscreen printing and pottery and art classes for children and adults are available.
