Emo Michelini and his two sons, Ilario and Dino, established Michelini Wines in 1982. The vineyard is continuing a family winemaking tradition dating back to 1851. The Merlot is the star of the Michelini vintage, boasting a vibrant red colour and violet fruit extracts integrated with French oak.
Like the Michelini family, the Marzemino grape originates from the Trentino region in northern Italy, and its limited release displays deep colour, marzipan and chocolate notes on the nose and a delectable savoury finish. Another Italian variety exclusive to Michelini is the Fragolino. It is made from the strawberry flavoured Fragola grape in a dessert style wine."
