Tokar Estate Restaurant opened in January 2003, the pipedream of owners Leon and Rita. Chef Richard Fretwell came on board when the restaurant opened, and the rest, as they say, is history!
With stunning views across the vineyard, diners have the perfect setting for al fresco dining, or if preferred, there is a cosy, Italianate interior for dining. The menu changes seasonally to reflect their use of the freshest, locally produced ingredients, strongly influenced by Italian and Spanish cuisine.
Just under an hour away from Melbourne and with stunning views of vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see, Tokay Estate is the perfect place for hosting a function / wedding. Leon and Rita are only too happy to tailor-make events to suit individual needs, making the special occasion truly memorable.
