The Del Rios

The del Rios Vineyard and Winery is located on the Western slopes of Mt Anakie in Victoria, Australia. The granite outcrop pictured above is the popular children's attraction Fairy Park. This is the backdrop for the vineyard and its many visitors provide a chorus of calls to the vineyard workers most weekends.

Beyond the 14 hectares of vineyard, the property rises to a higher plateau with views over Corio Bay, You Yangs, Geelong, the Brisbane Ranges and Mt Duneed.

The adventurous (and very fit) can climb further to the very top of Mt Anakie, a 2 km walk, for views of Melbourne as well as all the above. They might enjoy the company of a pair of wedge tail eagles that hover above the vineyard.
