South Lakes Golf Club

A seaside resort where the River Murray meets the Southern Ocean. Play golf on our 18 hole course with lush fairways and excellent greens, set against a backdrop of sand dunes. The design of the course provides golfers of all ages, with differing skill levels, the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf without the use of motorised transport. The relatively flat terrain makes the course a pleasant walk while listening to the waves crashing on the beach in the background.

The course is not long but still provides a challenge to the low handicappers, as accuracy is the priority, particularly approach shots to the greens. The course is generally opened to the public except for Wednesdays and Saturdays, as these are competition days for men and women.

Soft spikes on golf shoes are mandatory at South Lakes. Practice facilities include nets, putting green, chipping area, sand bunker and fairway. Use of your golf balls is permitted on all of the practice areas and buckets of balls can be hired.
