The Woocoo Historical Museum presents a mosaic of facets of the past life during peace and war, school, recreation, elegance and gracious living, as well as working conditions in many industries. The Museum, located at Brooweena, contains an extensive array of memorabilia and musical instruments, which of course, would not be complete with accordions, those indispensable items of bush dances in the past.
The buildings in the museum complex are well worth an inspection and include a large authentic rustic barn, a dairy shed, blacksmith's shop, the original Woocoo Shire Office, the former Brooweena railway station, a brake van, railway goods shed, a settler's slab hut and a butcher shop.
