Lyell Deer Farm

The Lyell Deer Farm is a working deer farm home to Red, Fallow, Rusa and Chital Dear. Visitors can feed the deer, participate in craft workshops and learn about the deer farming industry.

Staff have educational tours for primary and high school students where they can see how the deer are being farmed and about reproduction of the antler growth and the origin, behaviour patterns, and breeding cycles of the different species of deer being farmed throughout Australia.
