The Field of Dreams is an historical park situated on the outskirts of Sarina township. The complex consists of a number of finely restored period buildings and tourist attractions.
Built in 1923 as a Presbytery the Historical Centre is the former St Anne's Catholic Convent building. Visitors can visit the Historical Centre and discover gold mining, sugar, coal or even the lost Phoenicians. The museum is currently operated by a number of volunteers and is open to the public three days a week.
The Sarina Railway station and the Sarina Tourist Art & Craft Centre were constructed in 1909. The old Yukan station has reopened as the Yukan Art Gallery. The building is used mainly as a stage for celebrations, events and festivals in the Shire such as the popular week long "Discover Sarina Week".
Sarina Sugar Shed is a new premises but a welcome addition to the complex. This very unique and ambitious project involves the construction of a mini sugar mill and distillery.
