The owner and creator is happy to give an interesting and informative guide through the family history of the 150 year old Colonial Georgian Stonehouse, its restoration and transformation into one of the must see Gardens on Tasmania's Garden calendar.

These gardens are inspirational; as they were designed and created by one woman, against all the odds, rough terrain, starting with one pear tree, opposition and cancer. Guests truly can appreciate the time effort and beauty of the area.

The gardens are open summer weekends, or by appointment.
