Located in Elizabeth Town, Ashgrove Cheese is a unique Tasmanian company producing boutique handmade cheese.
They specialise in the production of hard English styles of cheese such as Cheddar and Lancashire. Recently they have extended the range to include a selection of exotic flavoured cheeses, utilising locally grown flavouring components.
Visitors can view the cheese making and maturing area from the shop, where you can taste Ashgrove cheeses before buying.

- The factory is set in the green pastures that sustain the 700-strong Ashgrove herd. As well as the cheeses, other quality Tasmanian produce is for sale including, chutneys and relishes to eat with the cheeses and wines.
