Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame

The Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame is an educational, interpretive, tourist and function centre in Latrobe, Tasmania.

The Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame is a community project which celebrated its Stage One opening in December 2002.

Tasmania's first national hall of fame has received support and funding from all tiers of government, industry, small business and civic groups and the Tasmanian Community Fund.

Visitors can see and talk to the sporting axemen and women who provide live woodchopping exhibitions on a regular basis. At the Axeman's Hall of Fame you can purchase many unique and beautifully handcrafted Tasmanian timber products, with a selection of "Gold Axe" accessories.
