Further Information: Centrally located, the YHA is the perfect base to explore Australia's capital and its many free attractions. Visit the National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial, Parliament House, Questacon, Old Parliament House, National Gallery of Australia and more. Cycle, walk or picnic beside Lake Burley Griffin, and enjoy views from Telstra Tower or Mount Ainslie. There's also plenty of festivals throughout the year including: Floriade, Multicultural Festival, Balloon Fiesta, and the International Film Festival. Canberra City YHA is suitable for families with children. We require that all children under 16 are accommodated in private rooms, and that all children under 18 travel with their parent or guardian.
