Boggabri Historical Museum

Boggabri's History is quite fascinating with the town's main street having moved three time.

A Hertitage trail through the towns reveals many interesting highlights of the progress through history since its beginnings in the early 1860's. A brochure is available from Whitehaven Coal office in Merton St or at the Museum in Brent Street.

A great way to get a 'feel' of Boggabri's life story is to pay a visit to the historical museum. You can lose yourself for hours taking a trip down 'memory lane' viewing memorabilia of days gone by. The museum is open on Saturday 10am - 2pm & Wednesday 10am - 12noon or by request.
