Ladro has taken people's taste buds by storm ever since it opened in 2004. Headed up by Rita Macali, it reflects an Italian neighbourhood restaurant, with a bold snazzy look to complement the twenty first century.
The hardest part about dining here is getting a table. Once you've managed that you have to decide between the large thin wood-fired pizzas, topped with all manner of gorgeous ingredients or the arrosto - roast of the day.
Appetite inducers range from salt cod fritters to grilled calamari and the wine list reflects the food with simple Italiano choices.
