Naracoorte Art Gallery

The Naracoorte Art Gallery is housed in a historic significant two storey building which was both the former home of a much loved early medical practitioner and former municipal offices of the Corporation of Naracoorte.

The art gallery was established as a regional art gallery and is the home of the Naracoorte Community Art Collection. This collection is made up of more than 60 etchings by famous engraver John Goodchild, an Aboriginal print collection and various other large and small oils, prints and watercolours.

The large main gallery room houses about 12 different travelling exhibitions each year and a smaller gallery supports the local artists of the area.
