Catania Fruit Salad Farm

Catania Fruit Salad Farm is a must see when visiting Hanwood in the ACT. Catania is one of the oldest farms in the region, with a genuine 1920's mud brick home. See how wonderful life is in the irrigation area, learn about how the irrigation and harvesting is done. Catania is the perfect day out for all ages.

Take a tour of the farm, share a glass of wine and see how sugarplums are dried. Visitors can taste the Riverina sun ripened peaches, apricots, oranges and grapes when in season. Sharon will take you on a fun and informative tour in air-conditioned comfort - allowing you to can see the many different fruits and nuts.

Catania Fruit Salad Farm is situated on Cox Road in Hanwood. From the tourist information centre you follow the Kidman way to Hanwood. After the village turn left onto Hanwood Avenue and follow the street signs to Catania Farms.

The tour takes one hour. Cost: $7.50 adults, Children Free. Open from 11am - guided tour at 1.30pm daily
