Qantas Founders Outback Museum is a place of excitement and learning, a blend of historical artefacts and hands on exhibits, with a focus on understanding the history. These virtual exhibits provide an avenue to explore exhibits that would otherwise be "behind glass".

The museum just got a new 707 that had been specifically built to Qantas specifications. Qantas Founders Outback Museum allows visitors to read and view a variety of informative pieces from short stories, information on current exhibitions and displays, information about temporary and travelling exhibitions to exhibits and information from people all over Australia and the world who have been a part of the QANTAS story.

Further Information
Qantas Founders Outback Museum has purchased a very important aircraft to add to the collection. The 707 was specifically built to Qantas specifications and is not only a significant aviation artefact in Australia but was the first commercial jet exported from the United States. It has a place in history and it will be permanently preserved for future generations alongside the original hangar at the Qantas Founders Outback Museum at Longreach, Queensland.
