Woolmers Estate is Australia's finest example of a pioneer farm of the early 1800s.
The Estate with its collection of Georgian farm buildings, antique cars, photographs, art and furniture display a remarkable journey from the first Thomas Archer, who settled the property in 1817, to the present day.
Guided house tours operate daily at 1100, 1230, 1400 and 1530. The tour takes approximately 45 minutes, or self guided tours can be taken at any time during the day.
A famous feature at Woolmers is the National Rose Garden. In late spring through to autumn you have the opportunity to walk through history with over 3000 roses, representing the historical development of the rose and covering all rose varieties.
