This 7453 ha park's water-streaked dome is the largest granite rock in Australia - an impressive 750 metres long, 500 metres wide and 200 metres high. The walk to the summit (three hour return trip) offers 360-degree views, and on a clear day you can see well into Queensland, including the adjoining Girraween National Park. Flora & FaunaThe parks Flora consists of creeks and woodlands providing habitat for a wide variety of fauna.
Common Eastern Froglet, Eastern Banjo Frog, Grey Butcherbird, Glossy Black-Cockatoo, Rainbow Bee-eater, White-naped Honeyeater, Brown Thornbill, Powerful Owl, Masked Owl, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Short Beaked Echidna, Black-striped Wallaby, Koala, Three-toed Skink, Eastern Water Skink, Eastern Water Dragon and the Bearded Dragon are just some of the wildlife that may be seen while in the park.
