Tuck's Ridge is a small boutique winery in the Mornington Peninsula region and also one of the prettiest. Quality rather than quantity in the over-riding philosophy of our operation. The wines continue to impress with the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in particular worth seeking out. Recently the vineyard was awarded five stars in the 2007 "James Halliday Wine Atlas" with both the 2004 Vintage Buckle Chardonnay and Pinot Noir achieving 95/100. Our philosophy is to handle all small batches separately giving the opportunity to then blend to ensure that the final wine reflects our region, the character of the vintage and the style of that particular grape. This philosophy has been followed in all aspects of production, from vineyard selection to winemaking practices. Cellar door tastings are aimed at enjoyable education and include horizontal tastings whenever appropriate. Our Cafe serves an eclectic selection of local produce and internationally inspired classics. Our attitude remains casual to the end but never lacks style or finesse. Established in 1986 on the Mornington Peninsula by Wine Makers and owners Peter Hollick and Helen Pattison. Cellar Door with Manager Matthew Bisogni is open: 11am-5pm daily offering Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sparkling Wine, Shiraz, Pinot Gris. Price: $20.00- $60.00.
