The Zebra Gallery is a kaleidoscope of jewel bright Opal fire and sapphire blue reflect from sensual silk and glowing glass, and swirl richly around a host of contemporary Australian treasures.
The gallery takes its name from the ship that brought Hahndorf's first settlers from Germany to South Australia in 1839, the Zebra. The gallery is owned and operated by artists Larry and Annette Oien and they specialise in silk painting including scarves, tops and framed paintings of local birds and flowers.
The gallery also displays hot blown glass, gold and silver jewellery, stained glass lampshades, picture frames, pottery and paintings by local artists.
