Flinders Discovery Centre

The Flinders Discovery Centre is situated in Gray Street, Hughenden. At the Centre there is a skeletal life-size replica of the Muttaburrasaurus Langdoni measuring seven metres by three point five metres with a fossil display of international standards around him.

Memorabilia from the Hughenden Historical Society with photos and historical artefacts is on display, as well as a video of Hughenden and district to watch, detailing the historical story of Hughenden and its wonderful attractions in the shire. New to the Flinders Discovery Centre is the Bioregions display and the Interactive Porcupine Gorge Display.

At the front of the Flinders Discovery Centre is the Hughenden Visitor Information Centre. Housing an excellent array of brochures and souvenirs for all tourists and visitors. Up to date relevant road information is available at the front counter.
