Kronosaurus Korner

Located in the heart of Richmond, a town of 750 people half way between Townsville and Mt Isa, Kronosaurus Korner is a museum, tourist information and educational complex. The $2 million centre and museum was built, and is continually being expanded and improved upon, because of the visionary outlooks of far-sighted Richmond locals and the Richmond Shire Council.

At the accredited Tourist Information Centre trained staff attend the information desk and will gladly provide advice and information on weather reports and attractions in nearby areas and shires. Also available is a full range of maps, plus pamphlets of other areas explaining their attractions and a booking service for fossicking tours.
