Situated on 35 acres near the entrance of Litchfield National Park, the Litchfield Tourist & Van Park offers the accommodation for you to experience the stunning nearby wilderness. Take a day trip to the famous magnetic termite mounds or take a dip in one of the many popular swimming holes or visit Florence Falls.

Litchfield Tourist & Van Park offers excellent facilities for a comfortable stay, including self contained cabins, campsites and the popular Litchfield House (sleeps 12). Take some time off from all the sight seeing and relax in the pool and spa.

The Finnis River runs through the bottom of the property and you may be lucky enough to catch a Sooty Grunter, Black Brim, Barra or Red Claw. Florence Falls remains open for the wet season and is truly spectacular at any time of the year. There is much to see in this beautiful area, we hope you'll enjoy an extended stay.

Special Features: Litchfield National Park is one of the best National Parks in Australia. The Park can be enjoyed by people of all ages. As you leave your accommodation with us and head to the Park you will shortly arrive at the Magnetic Termite Mounds. There are information boards that explain why the ants build these mounds as they do. On Thursdays & Saturdays at 10-00 am for 1 hour, you can also enjoy a guided walk with a Ranger from National Parks and Wildlife. The park is full of incredible sights including several waterholes, waterfalls, rainforest walks, great lookouts, caves, picnic areas, Aboriginal sacred sites, and 4WD tracks.
Restaurant/Bar: The Litchfield Tourist Park licensed restaurant offers local delicacies including Barramundi, Kangaroo, Buffalo, Crocodile, Chicken Schnitzels, Chicken Breasts, Lamb Chops, T-Bone and Scotch Fillet. All day breakfast and lunches from 8-00 am to 5-00 pm.
