Grassy Head Holiday Park is accommodation hidden amongst lush coastal forests and pristine golden beaches. The Grassy Head area is one of the unspoilt gems of the Mid North Coast around Kempsey. The abundance of fish and birdlife combined with the beautiful bushland surrounds is a delight for nature lovers.

Grassy Head Holiday Park is nestled under a canopy of shady trees just 200 metres from the unspoiled beach, rainforest and river. There are powered and unpowered sites and four self-contained cabins available. On offer are tranquil recreational activities such as rainforest, beach and river walks, rock and beach fishing and the beach is patrolled during the NSW school holidays.

Free kayaks, childrens playground, fishing, swimming, bushwalking from Grassy Head to Stuarts Point with tennis court and DVD hire available at Stuarts Point.

Minimum Stay is 2 nights for cabins on weekends and 7 nights during school holiday periods (Saturday to Saturday bookings) for both sites and cabins. You need your own linen, pillows, blankets and towels or these can be hired - please ask host for prices when booking. DISCOUNTS *Winter concession: one month minimum stay, June to August only - sites only $136 per week from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011. *SENIORS DISCOUNT: 10% off powered sites in DISCOUNT and SHOULDER seasons only. *AGED PENSIONER DISCOUNT: powered sites only $128 per week/$20.50 per day during DISCOUNT SEASON. Powered sites $137.00 per week/$21.50 per day during SHOULDER SEASON (prices valid 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011).

Grassy Head Holiday Park is part of the Macleay Valley Coast and is approximately 5 3/4 hours north of Sydney and 6 hours south of Brisbane. Surrounding areas include Yarriabini National Park, Stuarts Point, South West Rocks, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, Hat Head and Gladstone. The main retail centre is in Kempsey which is approximately 40 minutes south of Grassy Head. A popular walk is the easy River Walk which follows the riverbank from Grassy Head to Stuarts Point which takes anything from thirty-five minutes to over one hour depending on your walking speed. Yarrahapinni Lookout offers fantastic views and is just a short drive away with The Pines picnic area located on route.
