The Tathra Wharf Restaurant and the historic Tathra Maritime Museum run from the same unique premises.

Tantalise your taste buds and relish the superb view at the Tathra Wharf Restaurant and Café. Tathra Wharf Restaurant serves breakfast lunch and early dinner. Specialising in family affordable cuisine of the area, including seafood, pasta, salads and the usual beach side fare. Seating up to 70 guests, it is B.Y.O and children and groups are most welcome.

With great views from the front of the building, you can dine in the ultimate setting viewing dolphins, fishermen and whales in season.

The Historic, rustic and original wharf building also has a Museum upstairs currently showing a comprehensive written regard of local history and artefact's. Tathra's wharf is the only remaining sea wharf on the East Coast of NSW, and has been restored by the National Trust. The Gift shop always has something to take away for that memorable day with its ever-changing merchandise.

Local Area
*Tathra Beach is 3 kms of safe, pristine surf beach, patrolled in summer and protected from southerlies by a steep headland. The Tathra Surf Club is at the southern end of the beach. A fantastic new walking and cycling track ensures easy access along Andy Poole Drive right down to the inlet

*The restaurant is open 10am - 6pm, 5 days a week (extended in summer holiday times) *The Tathra Maritime Museum is open 7 days

Thinking you might get fresh tasty fish from the Tathra Wharf Restaurant? Wrong! After paying restaurant prices we got served up frozen, tough, bad tasting, muck that was supposed to be fish. Chips overcooked and oversalted ... Read More (Date of experience: Jun, 2010 )
