Events include: Horse events, woodchopping, cooking, photography, crafts, sideshows, fireworks trotting, showjumping, harness and draught horse events, Ute Competition are a special feature of this show.

Some of Australia's finest stud stock will be on display throughout the show as well as an amazing animal nursery where children can feed baby lambs and other quiet baby animals. Food and other refreshments are available.

Narrabri is situated at the foothills of the Nandewar ranges and is a strong agricultural area. Some of the most productive and fertile land is located at Narrabri. Main agricultural production is Cotton, Wheat, Sorghum,various Grains, Sheep & Cattle. The rich, black soil of the Namoi River Valley supports a diversity of agricultural activities, but cotton is by far the district's major industry.
