The event is the annual Tumbarumba Show - a showcase of rural produce, enterprise, creativity and ingenuity from the south west slopes of the Snowy Mountains.
There are ring events that include stud cattle, horse events and parades. We also have a junior pavilion where the local schools compete and show the work off to the public. The main pavilion is where people compete for prizes in sections such as floral, jams and jellies, knitting, painting and photography.
Features include: the grand opening and parade, Miss show girl, show jumping and the overall entertainment on the day which starts at 8am and goes all day. There is also the usual tin can alley with rides and games for every one. There is also special entertainment (stage and roving) throughout the day such as snake displays, clowns, juggling and many other entertainers.
