Discover the Northern Territory's Orchid Spectacular, celebrating 21 years in 2011, where you can view orchids, bromeliads, gingers, heliconias and many other beautiful plants. Soak up the relaxed tropical atmosphere, enjoy a Devonshire tea, and view demonstrations of flower arranging or learn how to pot and care for orchids and bromeliads. You will be able to purchase orchids and other plants from nurseries and clubs.

The Orchid Spectacular offers an orchid competition and a photographic competition, both are open to everyone and free to enter. The orchid competition has over 60 classes to be judged, including a floral art section and the photographic competition has six classes to be judged, including a postcard size category, ideal for the amateur enthusiast.
