The Australian Camp Oven Festival is a weekend of great family fun that celebrates their cultural bush heritage. There is something for everyone to do or see. The kids can be part of the damper throwing or billy boiling competitions, while adults might like to try their hand at making a bush apron, a mailbox (both judged prior) or even putting together a cooking team for one of the friendly competitions.
Visitors can sit back while watching the horse whisperer or sheep shearer, or enjoy the arts, crafts, local produce and old working machinery. Enjoy some authentic camp oven food before you kick up your heels at the bush dance on Saturday night. The Sunday morning Poets Breakfast brings their best poets from afar. Aussie dining and full bar facilities are available throughout the weekend and visitors can camp onsite with convenient amenities.
