Southern ACT Catchment Group

The Southern ACT Catchment Group is a 'group-of-groups' whose primary aim is to improve the environs of southern ACT.

Formed in March 2002, we are committed to providing a support network for smaller community environment groups. We are composed of Parkcare, Urban Landcare, Rural Landcare and Waterwatch networks and other community groups interested in the environment.

As a group, we are also involved in 'sub-catchment planning' that will enable us to address priority issues in a strategic fashion well into the future.

We intend to improve information exchange, educating the community and enhancing the wider community's awareness of the environment and the impact we have on it.
