- A perennial local holiday favourite, and only a couple of hours drive east of Melbourne in Victoria, Lakes Entrance is the gateway to one of the largest inland network of waterways in Australia. Ninety Mile Beach Marine National Park and Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park are home to abundant wildlife, fantastic deserted beaches, restful scenery, and offer a great opportunity to get away from the city!

- There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you on the move if you prefer an action packed sort of holiday. Choose from scenic flights, parasailing, water skiing, jet skiing, golf, tennis, squash, surfing, swimming, fishing, mini-golf, go-karts, gym to name a few. For the more relaxed visitor there are plenty of shops and restaurants for some great holiday retail therapy, hair, health and beauty establishments to pamper to your every need, a cinema complex to catch the latest release, miles of white sandy beaches to improve on the tan or to just sit back and relax while watching the waves roll in. There are also some great cruises you can be a part of, experiencing some of the great Gippsland Lakes system and the abundant bird and wildlife, whilst sampling the local produce and wines.
