A favourite with locals and visitors alike, the Gamekeepers Secret in Ballarat, VIC, is a renovated old 1859 pub decorated in the theme of a Safari Inn. Winners of the AHA 'Best Themed Bar' for 2004, the artefacts and hunting trophies from Africa and Asia adorning the walls are a real treat. Watch out for the Cobras and Zebra in the Rhino Lounge!
The menu is very varied with something for everyone and at prices to suit all budgets. Ribs, steaks, seafood, pizza, pasta, kangaroo, vegetarian, stirfrys, coffee and cakes, and blackboard specials are available. Open for lunch and dinner everyday or Devonshire Teas in the afternoon.
