Bringing her successful formula from The Junction to the beautiful relaxed surroundings of Belmont Bay, original owner Tevy Kang-Kem has never looked back.
The busy Belmont restaurant has a relaxed ambience often described by visitors as Noosa inspired. Great care has been taken in the design of the new restaurant with acoustic insulation on the ceilings, carpeted floors and fully-insulated walls to absorb noise.
Together with partner Brad Cooper they have established a niche clientele in Lake Macquarie.

- Voted a category winner at the Restaurant Caterers State Awards for Excellence in 2003, 2005 and 2006, Sesames held the title of Best Asian Restaurant in NSW and won Best Asian Restaurant in the Hunter Region in 2007. Sesames on the Lake, last year, won the title of Best BYO Restaurant for 2009. Lake residents and holiday makers have had the delight of enjoying the award winning modern Thai cuisine.
