In 1985 Chianti was born, a trattoria-style restaurant in Light Square. When Chianti moved to Hutt Street in 2000, their reputation for making great Italian cuisine followed. This family operated restaurant has been providing the finest food and best service for over 20 years and guests have loved every minute of it.
Chianti Classico's amazing flavour comes from using only fresh, seasonal ingredients. Head chef Tobias Gush is the magician in the kitchen, creating mouth-watering, traditional dishes from Tuscany and the Veneto area. He often travels back to Italy to find forgotten recipes and new influences. It all comes together in Adelaide, making the finest Italian experience in the city.
Chianti Classico also stocks an interesting array of wines from South Australia and even the Chianti region of Italy. Be sure to compliment your meal with a rewarding glass of fine wine, from the region of your choice.
