Overlooking the River's edge, The Hilltop has stunning 180 degree river views, 3 spectacular reception rooms, a fantastic sail-shaded deck, great food, attentive service and realistic pricing.

Situated in Granton, Derwent Valley & Highlands, The Hilltop is one of Hobart's best function and conference centres for groups ranging from 30 to 300 guests.

The restaurant offers a creative and delicious selection of meal options, from delicious starters menu, indulgent, decadent and delicious desserts. Live music every Sunday from 12.30pm - 2.30pm. Stunning views of the Derwent River, with a large fabulous sail-shaded deck. We are a fully licensed venue with a large selection of local and imported wines, beers and spirits.

With its strategic location, large dance floor complete with stage, personal bar and ample parking, it is the ideal venue to host your special occasion, wedding or business conference.

It also presents a stunning backdrop for a leisurely lunch or evening meal in the restaurant. Visit on Sunday afternoon and enjoy the Acoustic sounds of Tony Voglino, live every week between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

Weddings: We cater for cocktail style receptions, sit-down meals and buffet service for groups ranging from 30 up to 400 people. Wedding packages are available to suit any budget - Personalise your special day with a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum wedding. Your friendly function coordinator, will provide valuable advice & flexibility, and through fine attention to detail will ensure your every wish is carried out.
Conference Facilities: The Hilltop is one of the state's most spacious, flexible and strategically located conference and meeting venues - where Tasmania's North, South, East and West all meet. It's a spectacular setting with Panoramic windows overlooking the River Derwent - a world apart from some of the Claustrophobic venues disliked by a great many delegates. We can provide a range of room sizes, including a plenary room and supporting break-out rooms. Access to email can be made available. Parking is plentiful and we have a variety of great food options.
