Sledgeabout provide a sledging (Hydrospeeding) experience on the Lower Kaituna River.

The company collects clients from Rotorua accommodation and drive to the private river base where customers are outfitted in quality equipment and receive comprehensive safety instruction. Once on the water, all safety is repeated before beginning the 1.5-hour, at one with the environment, experience.

Sledgers are in control of their own purpose-built sledge; manoeuvred by flippers on their feet.At the conclusion, there is a 25-minute journey on a 4X4 Landcruiser through forest and farmland back to the base. View a slideshow of your experience before being returned to your accommodation.
