The new schist house was planned for exclusively for your comfort, privacy and independence. Join the owners for breakfast and activities on a real farm, or relax in your own self-contained wing with a large open fireplace in the lounge. On offer is the freshest produce, including homemade bread and jam, cheese and crackers. The owners also run a small sheep farm, plus a hill country 2,000 acre farm twenty minutes away. An airstrip and a car are available for your use.
The Martinborough area is famous for its wonderful wine. An astounding 26 small wineries are near the town, and Aig An Taigh Farmstay is situated among vineyards. Martinborough is well known for its excellent pinot noir. The Farmstay is minutes from the village, and has a great river for swimming plus a lovely garden and lake. For the adventurous, activities such as jet boat tours, kayaking, trout fishing, biking and hiking through the impressive Patuna Chasm Walkway are available.
