Kuratawhiti

Kuratawhiti is one of south Wairarapa's finest historic properties, built in 1892 for lawyer and future Mayor of Greytown, Henry Stratton Izard. Set on over an acre of mature trees and gardens in the centre of Greytown village, Kuratawhiti offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation for the discerning traveller.

Kuratawhiti's rooms are tastefully decorated with individual style. There are three spacious bedrooms furnished with contemporary art, Persian rugs, and designer bed linen. Rooms have private access to the verandas, Sky television, private bathrooms, bath robes, queen or king-sized beds and Egyptian cotton sheets. Gourmet breakfast, tea and coffee facilities with home baking and seasonal fruit are also provided. There is an outside spa pool framed by climbing roses and vines.
